What to do in summer 2023
What are everyone’s plans for summer 2023? I am looking to get the kids back outside, enjoying the sunshine. Long walks with the dog and getting to every park in our small village.
We are lucky to have around 3 large parks, skate park and a few small ones. This means there is something for everyone. Lets put down those phones and game controllers, start enjoying family time and freedom outside. Summer 2023 can be amazing.
Things to do locally
Living in a small village we are lucky that there is always something happening, from the scarecrow festival, sheep fair to the local wheelbarrow race. This is the local site to car fest south supported for Children’s charities in the UK. Below is a list of things happening in Overton in summer 2023.
Things to do in Overton this summer
15th July- Wheelbarrow race daytime event at Bridge Street.
25th August- Car fest at Laverstoke Park Farm.

There is plenty of places to stay and eat or take one of beautiful walks across Watership down just outside Overton, the area of inspiration for the children’s book of the same name, for breakfast or lunch or dinner there is many places to choose from.
